St Paul’s Summer Boost Program was a Huge Success!
St. Paul Dorchester, a CLEF supported school, held Summer Boost and it was an all-around success!
We would like to thank all of the teachers, staff, parents and students who participated in the 2020 Summer Boost Program at St. Paul Dorchester – as you were a part of history in the making. A special thank you to all who helped prepare the school and classrooms according to the CDC and State of Illinois guidelines. It was an excellent learning experience of what our school year will look like. A special thank you to our teachers Ms. Shermaine Herndon, Mr. Gerald Glinsey, Mr. Jonathan Lee and Ms. Tasha Branch for adhering to all guidelines and creating an engaging learning environment.
School safety remains the top priority for St. Paul Dorchester and guidelines from the Illinois State Board of Education, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and CDC were followed. Each day, everyone who entered the building had a temperature check, a basic screening, and were required to wear face coverings. The classrooms were thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and prepared as desks were arranged six feet apart and social distancing was enforced. New hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the school and air purification systems are in each classroom. With all of this in place, our students experienced a learning experience like no other. Again, thank you to all who made this possible.
