2020 Networking Conference: Mission. Possible.

2020 Networking Conference: Mission. Possible.

We are thrilled to offer the Networking Conference on August 10, 2020 to all CLEF principals, teachers and staff. This year has been one of great challenges, and in the face of these challenges we have seen our CLEF schools rise, again and again. That is why the theme for this year is Mission. Possible. We are looking forward to sharing in a day of good news — a day that reminds us that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. -Philippians 4:13

This year’s conference is a hybrid remote and in person event. Every registrant is invited to attend the event at their school campus, or at the host school campus that their principal has decided to use as the location for the event. Each school will still be practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and all appropriate safety procedures to ensure that every one of our CLEF community stays healthy and well.

The day’s events will be accessed online. Please bring a laptop and expect that some of the activities will be done while working with the people at your school, while other activities will be done in online groups.

We are excited to welcome Monique Chatman as this year’s keynote speaker. Monique is a Google Certified Coach in the Talladega County school district. She spent 11 years in the classroom teaching 1st, 4th, and 6th grade before becoming a technology integration specialist in 2015.  In 2017, she had the amazing opportunity to be part of the Dynamic Learning Project (formed by Google, EdTech, and Digital Promise), a coaching program that helps teachers use technology more effectively. She is a proud member of Our Voice Academy and looks forward to sharing her voice with educators all over the world. This fall she is embarking on a new business venture in which she will provide a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment for students participating in  online learning.

Together, and with His strength, we can navigate this school year. Thank you in advance to all our participants, speakers, and hands that helped shape this event.
