I am dreaming for 2 new modern day Televisions, 3 Bluetooth Sound Bars, and 1 Bluetooth Speaker for our classrooms.

At Our Saviour we have 3,4, and 5 year old students. Much of our daily activity includes singing and dancing in order to internalize information. We often like to use U Tube to enhance activities. We do this to show videos, learn new dance moves, watch a science experiment or recipe being followed before we attempt it, learn a new song, or even play an old favorite! We often use our smartboard to stream Scholastic.com thru our teacher laptops in order to use their online resources that go along with their magazines. This sort of activity currently needs to be scheduled since the three classrooms share the room that houses our smartboard. It would be so nice to have the option to just power up and do it right in our own respective classrooms!
Currently we have one smart television in our Kindergarten Room, an original outdated flat screened television in our 3 year old room, and no television in our 4 year old room.
Receiving my dream of two new smart Tv’s would allow each classroom to be capable of facilitating this type of activity daily instead of on a schedule. As we all know keeping these little ones on a time schedule can be a challenge!
Another awesome thing we could do with our new smart televisions is ZOOM… now that we are all experts! How amazing would it be to have a guest mommy or daddy read to us on his or her lunch break right from their office! Or even virtually visit another CLEF classroom to see what our friends are doing and share some fun!
Having Smart TV’s would be a true blessing for our school!

The Bluetooth Speakers that I dream of would pair up just perfect with our new TV’s or be awesome on their own!
A couple of years ago CLEF blessed us with a Bluetooth speaker for our gymnasium. That was the best gift ever!!!! We have been using it for dance parties once a week now during our remote learning, and of course daily when the children are in school. It is so great to have the power of music literally at the tips of our fingers when the kids have a request! The only problem with our current and ONLY Bluetooth speaker is that it is BIG! It is hard to roll it or carry it all around when we need it somewhere other than the gym. It would be awesome to have one in each of our classrooms and even be able to easily carry it to church or any location when we worship. Our afterschool Dance Class would also get lots of use from this Dream!

As you can see, our school would be totally empowered by getting a little upgrade to our current classroom technology situation. Our young students live in a time where these simple upgrades, which may be totally advanced for some of us, are part of their everyday home life. Prospective families expect these simple things and it would make our classrooms stronger and expand our teachers and students capabilities for using all the resources around us.
