I named our dream Magic Carpet because our children amaze me every day with the magical games they come up with at carpet time. I would love for our students at Lutheran Day to be recipients of a brand new learning carpet for their recreation room. We currently have a carpet, but this carpet has seen trialing times. We vacuum it, and we have attempted carpet cleaner, but sadly this carpet’s colors are fading away. The carpet is part of the children’s daily use so it now has less padding.

I believe a new and colorful carpet will be exciting for the children. It will also make our recreation room feel more inviting to existing and potential new families. The new carpet will also have more padding so the children will feel more comfortable sitting on it. Our children use the carpet in the recreation room for numerous activities. Our children will continue playing carpet games such as doggie, doggie where’s your bone, duck duck goose, and someone took the cookie from the cookie jar on the carpet. The children will also continue having Music Together on this carpet. There are also special events we hold in the recreation room, such as our Christmas program. The carpet will liven up the recreation room for all who see it!
