First Thursdays, 5-6 p.m.
Presenter: CLEF Instructional Coach, Maggie Zampini

Registration deadline was 10/30.

If you teach, assist, or coach Pre-K – 2nd Grade, these sessions are a must-attend! (And you receive a free book to bulk up your literacy library!) Throughout these monthly meetings, Maggie Zampini will be leading a group through the text, “Starting Strong Evidence-Based Early Literacy Practices” by K. Blamey and K. Beauchat.

With chapters on oral language, vocabulary, phonological awareness, word recognition, comprehension, and writing skills, this comprehensive book explains each skill and provides research-based strategies for targeting each area. Supported by evidence-based research and aligned to key tenets of the Common Core, the book also includes classroom-tested activities and children’s literature suggestions for each area of literacy.

This event is only open to CLEF teachers.

Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link to join the session.
