Independent Reading in the Midst of COVID (K-8)
Thursday, October 22, 5-7 p.m.
Presenter: Instructional Coach Kimberly Peterz Dent

Independent reading is not just reading alone or silently. Independent reading time provides students the opportunity to practice what is learned in the reading block. This important time also allows the teacher to check in for student understanding or challenges. During this PD with Kim Peterz Dent, we will learn more about the intention and importance of Independent reading, and how to successfully incorporate this literacy component into your literacy block.

This event is only open to CLEF teachers.
