About St. John’s Lutheran School
St. John’s Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered, private educational program to help children fully develop their God-given gifts and families pass their faith on to their children. At St. John’s, Christian fellowship is one of the most powerful factors in building character. The curriculum, structure, and culture support students to experience the joy of feeling like “being a child” as they learn, grow and achieve.

St. John’s takes pride in its graduates. As 8th grade students leave St. John’s, they consistently qualify for placement in Chicago’s top academic high schools, such as Northside College Prep, Lane Tech, and Loyola Academy.

From Our Parents

A Letter From Dawn Robinson

CLEF’s mission is to provide academic excellence to our students in a Christian environment. Today that can mean at-risk remote learning, in place of classroom instruction and safety. How can we help provide our students and their families with a Christian perspective in the face of despair, anger, racism, and destruction?
