About Concordia Place
Concordia Place provides over 40 years of experience in delivering high-quality, private Early Childhood programming for children six weeks to five years. The child development centered approach provides a well-rounded experience and ensures children are confident, joyful, and prepared to enter kindergarten.
Concordia Place meets the needs of working families. The centers are open all year round from 7am-6pm on M-F, and offer a sliding scale tuition structure. Classrooms are designed and constructed with children’s learning and nurturing in mind. Concordia Early Childhood centers are safe, comfortable places that promote relationships between the teaching staff and young children. The schools offer ample indoor and outdoor space, which allows infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to explore, learn and develop.
Learning Outcomes
Concordia Place evaluates student-learning outcomes utilizing the Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment tool. In fall of 2017, 91% of preschool children and 94% of children entering kindergarten met or exceeded expectations in social-emotional, physical, language, cognitive, literacy, and math development.
Afterschool Program (Ages 5-12)
Afterschool Programing is available at the Whipple location until 5:30pm on M-F. The program is also open for spring and winter school breaks. Teen Leadership Programs (Ages 12-18)
Concordia offers four year round teen programs at no cost. All programs take place at the Whipple location. While program content varies, all teens engage in hands-on activities based on a curriculum informed by MHA Labs, a research-based framework of six core social, emotional, and cognitive skill domains proven to drive academic, career, and personal success. Summer Camp (Ages 5-12)
Concordia offers a 10 week summer camp from 7am-5:30pm, M-F, at both the Whipple and Seeley locations. Team building, games, swimming, field trips, science experiment, and creative expression are all interwoven to create a full summer of fun and learning. Learn more about summer camp at this link.
